Assassins Creed 3: For Better or Worse
Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed series seems to be like the marmite of video games, you either love it or you hate it. There is no middle ground in this huge selling franchise. Assassin’s Creed III, Ubisoft has claimed is going to be bigger and better than any of its predecessors. So far the preview videos have shown for some exciting game play moments, but will it be enough to win over new fans, and keep the old fans happy?
Assassins Creed 3 certainly does have a very interesting setting. The story will be set during the American Revolution, and the Assassin Templar war that has been going on throughout the course of these games has somehow gotten involved. Gamers will control a half English half Mohawk guy called Connor Kenway. Connor certainly sounds like he will be a whole lot of fun to play as. He needs to stand up for his home as it is invaded by colonists.
Ubisoft has revealed the inclusion of real historic figures throughout the story. Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and George Washington just to name a few will be involved somehow. Also the game’s setting looks impressive. The story will be set over 30 years of Connor’s life and will not only see you out in the Frontier, but also visit cities like New York and Philadelphia.
The setting and premise unlike anything that has been seen in the series so far, indicating that Ubisoft is going all out to give the series that kick in the butt that so many fans have felt it has needed over the last few instalments.
