FIFA 12 Promised greater control of your player and team off and on the pitch. You don’t have to be a soccer fan to appreciate a lot of what FIFA 12 has to offer. Still, if you’ve played FIFA games, you’ll appreciate the improvements. While some of the advertised realistic additions are a bit exaggerated, they are enough to drastically change the dynamics of the game play.

You can’t button mash any more. You have to be a bit more technical when tackling and covering a player. A missed tackle can be the difference between launching a counter attack or being scored on. Just check out the intro you are treated to every time you load the game.

Now for the soundtrack. In usual fashion, the soundtrack to FIFA 12 is key to creating the atmosphere and energy of the game. It pulls music in from seemingly vastly different cultures and mostly higher beats per minute music. The game treats you to music you would not normally listen to and likely might encourage you to add a new station or two to your Pandora list. You will find a few songs that are annoying, but one thing is for sure, this intro song will you have endlessly trying to replicate the moves, and scoring goals.
